There are no user configurable options for exporting pipe networks to 3ds Max. In 3ds Max, materials are not automatically assigned to imported pipe network geometry.
Known limitations when exporting pipe networks to 3ds Max. Alignment and profile combinations are exported to 3ds Max as a special extended shape object. These shapes carry sufficient intelligence to permanently retain geometric information specific to alignments and profiles, such as:. Support is provided for design or finished ground profiles only.
